Wapda fought to win the 43rd National Kabaddi Championship Cup, at an exciting match at Pakistan Sports Complex’s Jinnah Stadium. Wapda and the Pakistan Air Force competed in an exciting final match, and Wapda successfully earned a deserved 48-40 victory.
The Pakistan Air Force, who proved their frightening expertise on the kabaddi mat, earned second place and boosted the level of excitement. On the final score of 40–22, the Pakistan Army demonstrated its strength by taking third place during an intense fight against the Higher Education Commission.
The Chief Guest of the championship, Shoaib Khosa, Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board, was present to mark the occasion. The Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Secretary General, Rana Muhammad Sarwar, gave medals and trophies to the worthy players as a way of expressing his appreciation.
Thirteen teams from across the nation’s departmental, provincial, and regional associations took part in this exciting event. Every squad, from Islamabad to the Pakistan Army, showed off their greatest skill and commitment, turning the occasion into a real celebration of the game of Kabaddi.
